There are many photos of the beautiful coverlets, but I had hoped for more information on the particular weaver that I was interested in. I own one of the coverlets that he wove which was made in 1845 and wanted to know more about him. He was a relative on my husband's side|From Library Journal|Two private collections of American handwoven coverlets, both including well-preserved examples created mostly in the Middle Atlantic states, Ohio, and Indiana between the 1810s and the 1860s, are presented in these two books. The McCarl col
