I must admit that I don't know anything about quilting myself, so cannot comment upon its effectiveness for quilters in regard to the directions and charts, etc... But it is a beautifully illustrated book with lots of photographs of some pretty gorgeous quil|About the Author|Barb and Alma, of Blackbird Designs, are well-known for prior block-of-the-month books, "Celebration of American Life" and "Women of Grace and Charm." Their Fall 2005 release, "Home Sweet Home," continues to be a huge seller.
Barb Adams and Alma Allen are back with their new block of the month project, published in The Kansas City Star throughout 2006. Called "Birds of a Feather," the book celebrates our favorite feathered friends with 12 blocks, finishing instructions, plus an assortment of related projects including needlepunch, purses and a hooked rug.
