Whimsical, love it. The book itself was printed in 1977, but is in decent shape. For the price I paid, I'm happy!
Includes instructions for making 60 different items, from pop-up toys to dolls in historical costume. They are not expensive to make and need only simple dressmaking and practical skills. There are 131 actual size patterns that can be traced off the page. "There are some unusual and charming characters to make" ("The Lady"). Jean Greenhowe is the author of "Making Mascot Dolls", "Dolls in National and Folk Costume" and "Making a Victorian Doll's House".
